The Minister of Defence: Vučić Is a Statesman that We Have not Had for a Long Time
Today, visiting the Military Academy in Belgrade, Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin looked back on the stay of the President of the Republic of Serbia and Supreme Commander Aleksandar Vučić in Kosovo and Metohija after the last week’s assassination of Oliver Ivanović.
- Aleksandar Vučić has demonstrated once again that he truly is a statesman that we have not had for a long time, and that he is a man of great personal courage. His stay with Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija came once again in the most difficult moments, but these are precisely those moments when he shows his skill as the statesman and sincere love to every Serbian who lives in Kosovo and Metohija. Aleksandar Vučić has proven that the state of Serbia has no intention of moving away from Kosovo and Metohija, that it will take care of every man living in Kosovo and Metohija and that our policy is a policy which only strengthens the position of Serbia in Kosovo and Metohija – Minister of Defence said adding that it was difficult to stay with the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija in those few days but it was also honourable.
He reminded that Aleksandar Vučić had proved that he was a man who enjoyed the absolute support of all Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija.
- The entire international community paid close attention to his visit and its conclusion is that Serbs are unified strong, and have no intention to leave and that no one will ever decide about them without them. The representatives of the international community could also see that Serbs cannot be traded or divided, that they cannot be bought, and that Serbs have a man to whom they sincerely trust - Aleksandar Vučić, and that they have Government and the state which is closely with them – Minister Vulin concluded.
