Vulin: Citizens of Serbia are safe
Answering journalists' questions about the situation in the south of Serbia and the Ground Safety Zone, considering the entry of the Serbian List into the Interim Institutions of Kosovo and Metohija, Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin replied that the units of the Serbian Armed Forces, both in the GSZ and in the south of Serbia, and in the whole country is always ready to preserve our national space and our way of life.
- It has nothing to do with the political situation in Kosovo and Metohija or anywhere else. Our members are always ready to fully control our territory, preserve our security, our constitutional order and the territorial integrity of the country. We never allow political troubles or instability to be transferred to our territory, regardless of whether we are talking about a border or an administrative line. This was the case when we had an armed rebellion in our neighborhood, in Kumanovo, when we were able to preserve peace and stability in our area. Also, the instability that often occurs in Kosovo and Metohija is a challenge for us, but we absolutely control our space doing everything in accordance with the law. The state of Serbia is calm and stable and its every citizen is safe and secure.
