Minister Đorđević visits “Yumko”
The Minister of Defence, Zoran Đorđević visited the company HKPK “Yumko” l.c. Vranje where he talked with the management of the company. The State Secretary in the Ministry of Economy, Dragan Stevanović and the Mayor of Vranje, Dr Slobodan Milenković participated in the meeting as well.
The Acting Director General of “Yumko”, Branislav Trajković informed the Minister about business results of the factory and about the implementation of the contract in place with the Serbian Armed Forces. The plans for the period to come were also under discussion.
In the period 2010-2016, the Ministry of Defence entered into 14 contracts with “Yumko” for the procurement of 56,183 sets of field uniform M-10 (50,183 sets being delivered so far), 4,600 military field overalls M-10, 1200 hats and 4,786 pairs of trousers of the same model, as well as 28,862 summer military field trousers M-12 (out of which 19,757 pairs were delivered) of the total amount exceeding 2.45 billion dinars.
Also in progress is the implementation of a contract concluded in the end of the last year for the procurement of some six thousand sets of military field uniform M-10 amounting to 242.5 million dinars, with the delivery deadline set for 31st July this year. Another contract in the phase of implementation is for the procurement of 17,010 pairs of summer military field trousers M-12 of the total worth of 71.7 million dinars with the time of delivery set for 15th April. So far 7,905 pairs have been delivered while the rest is going to be delivered in accordance with the agreed dynamics.
