Golden Plaques for retired generals



Today, at Banjica 2 barracks, Serbian Armed Forces Chief of General Staff General Ljubiša Diković has presented golden plaques to the generals of the Serbian Armed Forces who are retiring, as well as incentives to members of the extended collegium.
 
Former chiefs of Operations, Human Resources and the Training and Doctrine, Major General Vojin C. Jondic, Brigadier General Stojan Konjikovac and Brigadier General Marinko Pavlovic, respectively, acquired eligibility for retirement pension. General Diković has also awarded golden plaques of the Serbian Armed Forces to the two generals who retired in October 2016 – Brigadier General Dragosav Lacković and Slavoljub Dabić.
 
General Diković pointed out that the year 2016 was "a year of good planning and project development for the years to come".
 
- We have capable people for the planning, organization and implementation of activities. I should give due credit to all of you for your persistence and stability, cooperation and understanding of the task, as well as your direct involvement in numerous tasks and obligations, Chief of General Staff said, and reminded those present of the results achieved by the Serbian Armed Forces in 2016.
 
Speaking about the five retired generals, he pointed out that they are exceptional commanding officers, associates and friends, and the generals pointed out that they felt honoured to have been part of the defence system.
 
Today's ceremony was attended by the presidents of the councils of branches and services of the Serbian Armed Forces and heads of divisions of the General Staff departments.
