Opening of art exhibition of "Kopaonik 2008" art colony
In the organization of the Military Academy, an exhibition of paintings created in an art colony on Kopaonik in the period 16-25 August. was opened today in the gallery Icarus, in the Air Force Club in Zemun.The exhibition was opened by the Head of the Military Academy Major General Vidosav Kovacevic who said that the paintings would enrich the gallery and that the organization of the colony would continue in the next years as well.
The colony held last year was seventh in a row and the fourth to be held on Kopaonik. During the 10-day period, 20 established artists from various parts of Serbia enriched the art fund of the Military Academy with almost 50 valuable works of art.The opening of the exhibition was also attended by the representatives of the SAF GS, the Air Force Command, the students of the Academy and numerous citizens.
