PRISMA annual seminar



As part of bilateral military cooperation with the Kingdom of Denmark and with the support of Nordic Initiative countries, an annual seminar titled “Strengthening the capacities of PRISMA program “ wil be held in the period from 26 to 30 January in Belgrade.
On behalf of the Ministry of Defense, State Secretary Igor Jovicic opened the seminar, who on that occasion thanked the Nordic Initiative and IOM-the International Orgwnization for Migrations for the cooperation achieved so far and the support given to PRISMA program, while expresing his expectations that this coperation would continue. One of planned activities is finding the solution to support the career change and to support professional soldiers.
Besides the representatives of PRISMA program, the representatives of IOM took part in the first two days of the seminar as they are engaged on the Support Project for our military personnel. This project has been successful for over two years now in providing financial assistance to PRISMA national program thorugh NATO/PfP Trust Fund for the Republic of Serbia.
The other part of the seminar focuses on drafting the action plan for the future cooperation of PRISMA directorate and the Nordic Initiative in the nest five years. On 30 January, at 10:00 the auction bid will be carried out for the educational institutions for adults at the secondary school level as bidders for retraining courses for the period 2009/20101.
