Talks on the renewal of the civil part of Morava airport
Delegation of the General Directorate for Investments and Infrastructure of the Turkish Ministry of Transport, Maritime and Communications paid a several-day official visit to the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia. During the visit, meetings were held in the Department of Infrastructure of the Material Resources Sector discussing the reconstruction of the civilian part of the Morava Airport near Kraljevo and its refurbishment to receive aircraft operating on the transatlantic routes, or preparing to be eligible for the category 4E.Members of the Turkish delegation, led by Mr Nejdet Zumbul, together with Mr Nenad Neric, State Secretary in the Ministry of Defence, visited the Morava airport, and the tour was attended by the Mr Kemal Mehmet Bozay, Ambassador of Turkey in Belgrade.
At the end of the visit, it was concluded that the possibility of implementing the donations by the Republic of Turkey to the civilian part of the airport in order to bring it to a desired level will be considered in the forthcoming period.
