Last night, around 21 hours, while performing regular tasks on the road between the village Slavinje and Izatovci near Pirot, members of the joint military and police force heard a shot and then met six migrants, one of whom had been shot in the chest. At the scene, they came across four hunters.

The police and the emergency services were informed about the event, and the doctors at the scene could only establish the death of a 20-year old male citizen of Afghanistan.

Members of the Ministry of Interior in Pirot, after the inspection, arrested one of the hunters, M. M. (1977) from Pirot, and, pursuant to order of the High Public Prosecutor's Office, ordered the man to be held in custody for 48 hours.

Police continues work on establishing all the circumstances of this event.
