Minister of Defence meets Minister-Counsellorat the Embassy of the Russian Federation




Defence Minister Zoran Djordjevic met today with Denis Kuznedelev, Minister-Counsellorat the Embassy of the Russian Federation.
 
During the talks, both sides expressed satisfaction with the achieved level of development of cooperation between the two countries and cooperation in the field of defence. The Defence Minister expressed his gratitude for the principled support of the Russian Federation to the foreign policy priorities of our country. Djordjevic said that Serbia is leading an autonomous and independent foreign policy, in full respect of military neutrality and balanced approach to the development of cooperation with all our partners around the world.
 
Minister Djordjevic expressed particular satisfaction with the strengthening of transport capacity of the Serbian Armed Forces AF&AD by delivering two Mi-17V-5 multi-purpose helicopters, which further enhanced the operational and functional capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces.
