Meeting of Serbian and Hungarian Chiefs of Staff
Serbian Armed Forces Chief of General Staff General Ljubisa Dikovic discussed with the Hungarian Chief of Defence Staff General Tibor Benkő in Szeged the current security situation and the bilateral military cooperation.Generals Dikovic and Benkő exchanged views on security challenges caused by migrant crisis, and particularly mentioned joint participation in the United Nations multinational operations in Cyprus, joint exercises carried out by members of the two armies, as well as on cooperation in the field of CBRN, military sports and development of the NCO corps.
The two generals agreed that military-to-military cooperation between the two armies was very intensive in terms of both number of activities and contents, and that it contributed to the development of good neighbourly relations and strengthening security in the region.
