Cooperation with Romania to be promoted
The MoD and SAF delegation led by the Head of the International Military Cooperation Department Milorad Peric paid an official visit to the Ministry of National Defense of Romania on 12 and 13 January 2009.
During the meeting with the State Secretary of the Romanian Ministry of the National Defense, Dobriciou Cornely, both sides agreed that the cooperation in the area of defense was the top priority for both countries and that it should be further improved.During the visit the Plan for Bilateral Military Cooperation Plan was signed as well as the Program for Education and Training of our officers in military schools of Romania for the academic year of 2008/2009. the military cooperation plan envisions numerous joint activities such as exercises and providing support to Serbia in reforming its defense system as well as in the PfP activities.
