Briefing for foreign military representatives
Regular briefing of foreign military representatives accredited in the Republic of Serbia was held in the "Topcider" Guards Club, on jurisdiction and the basic functions of the Human Resources Sector Personnel Department in the Ministry of Defence.Head of the Personnel Department Brigadier General Dragosav Lackovic with his associates informed the foreign military representatives about the specifics of conducting basic tasks of the Personnel Department within the functions "personnel" and "education" in the conditions of the existing budgetary constraints, with special emphasis on the way of achieving the projected organizational model of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, the system of
education and training and the model of officer’s career management.General Lackovic pointed out that the current developed cooperation in the field of education and training should be continued and intensified, because it contributes to the acquisition and exchange of different experiences and practices necessary for better mutual understanding and closer cooperation and invited the interested countries to send their candidates to military-educational institutions of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia, on the principle of reciprocity.
