In the Rastko Nemanjic barracks in Pancevo, today, about 11 am, during the regular maintenance – cleaning of the fuel tank, a civilian Radoje, Mileta, Vujicic perished. On that occasion, another civilian Zoran, Sima, Stakic was slightly injured and was transferred to the MMA for treatment and his life is not in danger.

By order of the Prosecutor of the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Pancevo, the bodies of the Ministry of Interior and the Military Police are determining the circumstances in which the accident happened. Defence Minister Zoran Djordjevic ordered an extraordinary inspection, and a commission of the Serbian Armed Forces Chief of General Staff has also been formed.

Civilian Radoje Vujicic was born on 27 February1958 in Mladenovac. He was in the professional military service since 1986, and served as a mechanic for the drive equipment and installations in the Central Logistics Base in Belgrade.

Defence Minister Zoran Djordjevic and Serbian Armed Forces Chief of General Staff General Ljubisa Dikovic visited the scene of the accident and sent telegrams of condolences to the family of the killed.
