Cooperation in the field of standardization



Agreement on cooperation in the field of standardization between the Institute for Standardization of the Republic of Serbia and the Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Codification of the Department for Defence Technologies of the Ministry of Defence, was signed at the Institute for Standardization by Acting Director of the Institute, Tatjana Bojanic, and Assistant Professor Colonel Veselin Raicevic, Director of the Directorate.

The agreement was signed for the purpose of strengthening the mutual cooperation, the need to jointly examine certain issues of common interest, promotion of the role and importance of the application of standardization in drafting technical and other regulations, as well as the application of standards in the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces.

The signing of the Agreement is important for the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces because it will allow better promotion of the defence standards of the Republic of Serbia, improve the efficiency of the standardization process in the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces and Serbian defence industry enterprises, and contribute to the more successful implementation of expert seminars in the field of standardization.
