Minister Vujovic extends best wishes on the occasion of the Defence Inspectorate Day





I congratulate all the members of the Defence Inspectorate on 26 February – the Inspectorate Day.

On that day in 1911, King Petar I Karadjordjevic issued a Decree on the General Inspection of the entire army on the basis of the Law on the Organisation of the Armed Forces and the Law on the Organization of the Ministry of War. The Decree specifies the composition, responsibilities and powers of the General Inspection, which represents a formal and legal establishment of the single inspection of the Serbian army.

Continuing the tradition of more than a century, in the previous period you successfully performed inspection in connection with the implementation of laws in the field of defence and of importance for the defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, regulations based on the law, plans and measures of public authorities, organizations and the Serbian Armed Forces, and other activities within the competence of the inspection.

Wishing you to continue to fulfil the set tasks and duties and give your full contribution to the affairs of inspection in the field of defence, I extend you my best wishes you for your holiday.
