A gift to the Fourth Brigade Football Club
At the base "South" of the Serbian Armed Forces, today, players of the team "Heavenly Angels", whose members are members of the 4th Army Brigade, were presented with a gift by N Sport Company. At the handover of the sporting goods, Brigade Commander Brigadier General Zoran Lubura said that the football club "Heavenly Angels" cherishes the memory of the 11 members of the 78th Motorised Brigade, killed in the NATO aggression in 1999.
General Lubura pointed out that it was a gift from the well-known sports company for the success that the footballers of the Fourth Brigade, led by professional coach Branimir Stosic, the only civilian in the club, had achieved in the previous competition period and thanked Minister of Defence Bratislav Gasic for initiating the action.
During a tour of the base, Defence Minister Bratislav Gasic, Deputy Chief of SAF General Staff Lt. Gen. Jovica Draganic and Army Commander Lt. General Milosav Simovic were informed about this year's results of work. At the "South" base, capacities and capabilities of the Training Centre for Peacekeeping Operations units have been enhanced, polygon Borovac and the Simulation Centre have been constructed and the arranging of shooting complex Vrtogos and multi-purpose education centre has started. To perform these works, the Ministry of Defence this year provided more than 100 million dinars. For next year, the construction of a Sports-recreational Centre and the Command Centre for the training of units is planned, for which around 200 million dinars have been provided in addition.
