Visit of the delegation of "Helicopters of Russia"
Delegation of the "Helicopters of Russia" company from the Russian Federation visited the Ministry of Defence from 9 to 11 December.The visit was realized after the visit of the Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic to the Russian Federation and the discussions at the national level on the possibility of establishing cooperation between the defence industries of Serbia and the Russian Federation, and in particular the possibility of establishing and expanding our overhauling capacities for maintenance and overhaul of Russian-made helicopters in Serbia, both for our needs and for the needs of their customers from Europe and beyond.
Company representatives visited part of our aviation development, manufacturing and overhaul facilities. Members of the Russian delegation expressed their belief that the visit contributed to establishing a wider knowledge of the current capacity and technological level of our aviation enterprises and created a prerequisite for further consideration of the possibilities for cooperation.The Russian delegation will inform the competent national authorities about the results of the visit which will be followed by making a decision and defining specific forms and modalities of establishing cooperation on specific projects as soon as possible.
