Opera evening "The Road to Bel canto"

In the Crystal Hall of the Central Military Club, another opera evening was held from the cycle "The Road to Bel canto", with performances from the Art Ensemble of the Ministry of Defence "Stanislav Binicki" and young artists from the Faculty of Music in Belgrade.

Performing works by composers such as Rossini, Dvorak, Bizet and Puccini, selected current and graduate students presented the audience their newly acquired skills and knowledge in the art of singing. Guides on the journey to beautiful singing, conductor Vesna Souc and Professor Nikola Kitanovski noted that next year marks a decade since the launch of the project of cooperation between the Faculty of Music and the MoD Ensemble.

- We both made our first steps in our careers with the Ensemble "Binicki" and now we encourage our students to present themselves to the audience this way. Every year, the audience is more numerous, and we hope that we will celebrate our first decade in this atmosphere as well - Professor Kitanovski said.
