State Secretary received Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina



Државни секретар примио заменика министра спољних послова БиХState Secretary of the Ministry of Defence Zoran Djordjevic met with the delegation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Josip Brkic.

On behalf of all members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, State Secretary Djordjevic expressed his condolences over the recent terrorist attack that took the lives of two members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Networking and cooperation between the two countries in the fight against terrorism, through the intensification of cooperation between the intelligence and security agencies are imposed as the only effective response to current security challenges, the interlocutors agreed.

Secretary of State Djordjevic stressed that, as an immediate neighbour, Bosnia and Herzegovina is in the first circle of the foreign policy priorities of the Republic of Serbia and that the Ministry of Defence is interested in holding bilateral consultations on multilateral issues in the field of defence.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Republic of Serbia Lazar Mirkic.
