Concert of the "Binicki" Ensemble at the Day of the City of Smederevo



With a ceremonial programme last night, the Day of Smederevo was marked in the Cultural Centre Smederevo. On that occasion, a concert of the Art Ensemble of the Ministry of Defence "Stanislav Binicki" was held, under the baton of Vojkan Borisavljevic.

The vast audience rewarded with applause the performances of vocal soloists, including Merima Njegomir, Snezana Savic, Ekstra Nena, Zarko Dancuo and Marko Kalajanovic, and their performances of popular tunes were accompanied by the Ensemble "Stanislav Binicki".

The program included also included a gala academy, awarding of the Charter of the City and the Silver Coin of the City. On this occasion, Mayor of Smederevo Jasna Avramovic presented the Charter of the City to the Art Ensemble "Binicki", as a token of successful cooperation.
