Day of "Zastava Film" marked
- Numerous tasks that we have performed have contributed to the affirmation of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces and that gives us hope that we will be recognized and rewarded with the support of the system, and that the system will see the importance of our role and help us to catch up with the times. We think, first of all, of the help in equipping and renewing resources, both human and material. We have ideas to spare. We are only missing a little support to put them into practice and together be proud of this house - Lt. Col. Ikonic said. He stressed that "Zastava" would continue the mission of preserving films and film activities in the defence system and media support for all significant events in the defence system.
Head of the Public Relations Department Navy Captain Petar Boskovic praised the work and dedication of members of the Military Film Centre. According to him, cameramen, editors, assistants and people who deal with the organization and administration deserve recognition for the effort and the results that have been achieved over the past year.
During 2015, the crews of "Zastava" crossed 58.000 kilometres, their cameras shot in nine countries. From their productions, published were: three documentaries, three educational and a propaganda film, nine television videos, 11 TV reportages and seven advertising videos. MFC cameras recorded 57 military exercises at various levels and recorded 580 reportages for the "Allow" show. Following activities in the defence system daily, "Zastava film" has shot and edited 890 video clips for the MoD website.
On the occasion of the Day of "Zastava film", Head of Public Relations Department handed over military commemorative medals to members of the institution for the successfully realized parade "March of the Victorious."
