President of the Republic of Serbia congratulates on the occasion of the Day of the Army



To members of the Army, I congratulate 16 November - Day of service.

As members of the oldest and largest service of the Serbian Armed Forces, Continuing a tradition of more than a century, you affirm the traditional values of our national history and the Army of Serbia.

In the previous period, a period of great challenges and economic crisis, you have developed the operational capability of your service and I am sure you will continue to be a key factor in modern military organization.

The greatest value of the Army is in its people and their knowledge, in a responsible and professional approach to the tasks, in training of members of its service and in securing the safety of our country. You have shown that you know how to modernize units and institutions of the Army, regardless of the complexity of the conditions in which you work.

I am confident that you will continue to professionally carry out the tasks and fulfil the obligations that lie ahead, and that you will continue with the technical modernization of your service. This will contribute to the overall development of the Army, in which you will have the full support of the Republic of Serbia. I congratulate you on your holiday!
