Contract with Trayal Corporation signed

Defence Minister Bratislav Gasic visited the Trayal Corporation in Krusevac today, met with the management and toured the manufacturing halls. After the meeting, the company Director Milos Nenezic and Director of the Directorate of Procurement and Sales of the Supply Department Colonel Aleksandar Bukvic signed a contract to purchase new protective equipment for the Serbian Armed Forces.

After the meeting and the tour of the facility, Minister Gasic said that until 2012, Trayal Corporation had delivered the goods for the Serbian Armed Forces in the amount of only seven million dinars, and for the next three years in the amount of 250 million dinars was reached.

- Even though we had our defence industry factory, it so happened that in the warehouses of the Serbian Armed Forces we had more than 35,000 protective masks with expired resources and of dubious quality. In the past two years, the condition of protective masks and suits for the needs of our military has significantly improved. We wish to significantly renew our equipment next year - Minister Gasic said and added that the management of Trayal Corporation had invested considerable effort to improve the quality of their products, and for all that to be adopted in the TOC.

The value of contracts signed today is 98 million dinars, and for 2015 the total value of the business with Trayal corporation amounts to about 124 million dinars.

Answering questions about accusations of the Humanitarian Law Centre at the expense of Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces General Dikovic, Minister said that General Dikovic is "an honourable and good officer."

- They addressed the public with something that is part of preliminary investigation against N.N. person, which does not mean it is General Dikovic. We have had enough of trials against Serbian officers fabricated processes against them – Gasic said.

Director of Trayal Corporation Milos Nenezic pointed out the importance of the Contract which was signed today. He thanked the Serbian Armed Forces for the confidence in products of the Krusevac corporation, when it comes to product quality and delivery deadlines. Moreover, he pointed out that the Treaty is reliable evidence of cooperation between the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces and Trayal corporation.
