Day of Military Medical Centre Novi Sad marked
With a ceremony in Novi Sad Military Club, members of the Military Medical Centre Novi Sad marked today the 229th anniversary and 11 November - Day of the Centre.
Addressing the audience, Head of Military Medical Centre Colonel Bratoljub Brkljaca stated that during the long period of existence of the military hospital, never, not even in the toughest and most turbulent historical times, had it stopped working. -The Military Hospital in Petrovaradin lasts and will last for centuries thanks to its members represented by honourable people committed to their work, humble and kind-hearted, people who help those who seek the path, and the only path for the diseased is health - Colonel Brkljaca said.
Acting Chief of the Military Health Department Colonel Dr Ugljesa Jovicic said that 229 years of existence speak volumes about the great importance of the humane occupation, as well as more than 3,000 operations performed by members of MMC Novi Sad this year.
Novi Sad Mayor Milos Vucevic said that the Novi Sad Military Medical Centre provides the highest quality healthcare services, thus serving the pride of all residents of Novi Sad, as well as the South Backa District, and promised that next year the City will equip the third operating room in the Military Medical Centre with the latest equipment.
The artistic part of the program featured the only inclusive choir in Europe, mixed choir of the School for elementary and secondary education "Milan Petrovic" in Novi Sad, whose students are persons with disabilities.
