Certain agencies as tabloids



Certain agencies and media companies in an inappropriate manner, characteristic of tabloids, pulling out of context parts of the statement, in a tendentious way, especially in the title, have communicated a statement by Defence Minister Bratislav Gasic. Simply, the title phrased "I am proud of the action of rescuing the baby" does not correspond to the layered statement, which can be easily seen from the text, if viewed with any professionalism.

When asked to comment on the verdict of the Military Disciplinary Court in connection with the fall of the helicopter, during the today’s statement in the Great War Hall, Minister Gasic stressed that it was not appropriate for him to speak anything about it, bearing in mind that the appeal was pending and the fact that the prosecution was yet to reach conclusions. He conveyed his deepest regret for the victims of the accident, saying that everything had been done to help their families in overcoming the difficult moments. He also noted that the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces took care of the families of the tragically killed and that they were in constant contact.
