Minister of Defence congratulates on the occasion of the Day of Veterinary service

To all members of the veterinary service I congratulate 1 November - Day of service.

On that day in 1851, at the proposal of the State Council, by the Decree of Prince Aleksandar Karadjordjevic, the first chief of the veterinary service was appointed. Continuing a tradition of more than a century and a half, in the previous year, you have achieved success and quality realization of assigned tasks of logistical functions.

I am certain that, in the coming period, you will continue developing your service and professionally and responsibly performing the tasks and thus give full contribution to the development of veterinary service and logistics services of the Serbian Armed Forces as a whole, and I congratulate you on your holiday.


Minister of Defence congratulates on the occasion of the Day of meteorological and navigational services

To all members of the meteorological and navigational services I congratulate 1 November - Day of service.

On that day in 1923, in Petrovaradin, the meteorological section of the First Air Force Command was established. The Section's task was to take care of the organization of air meteorological services and deploying staff and equipment. Continuing a tradition of more than nine decades, the previous year was marked by your successful implementation of tasks in the field of meteorological and navigational security thanks to the expertise and competence of members of your service.

I am convinced that in the coming period you will continue professionally performing the assigned tasks and contributing to the development of your service and the Air Force and Air Defence of the Serbian Armed Forces as a whole, and I congratulate you on your holiday.
