Members of the infantry company of the Second Brigade taking part in the exercise in Germany




Members of the infantry company of the 21st Infantry Battalion of the Second Army Brigade have for the past several days preparing for the implementation of the exercise "Joint Resolve V” in the training center "Hohenfels" in Germany.

In addition to 99 members of the infantry company of the Second Brigade, the exercise involves about 4,500 soldiers from Albania, Bulgaria, Georgia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway, Romania, the United States, Slovenia, France, the Netherlands and Montenegro.

The exercise is organized by the United States European Command with the aim of improving the interoperability and mutual understanding of members of armies in the implementation of operations in a multinational environment.

Army units have been trained in the "Hohenfels" multinational training center since 2011, and this is the fourth exercise with the participation of members of the 21st Infantry Battalion.
