Representative of the Ministry of Defence attends joint meeting of the Forum for Security Cooperation and the OSCE Permanent Council
Head of the Strategic Planning Department of Defence Policy Sector, Brigadier General Slobodan Joksimovic, participated in the 61st joint session of the Forum for Security Cooperation and the OSCE Permanent Council which was held in Vienna.The aim of this joint meeting, organized during the Norwegian Forum for Security Cooperation chairmanship and Serbian chairmanship of the OSCE in 2015, was to consider the application of the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325 – Women, Peace and Security, as well as exchange the experiences and good practice in the OSCE region in the implementation of this Resolution, in the year marking the 15th anniversary of its adoption.
On that occasion, Brigadier General Joksimovic presented the results achieved in implementing the National Action Plan for the implementation of the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325 – Women, Peace and Security in the Republic of Serbia (2010-2015) from the competence of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces.
