Defence Minister congratulates on the occasion of the Day of the Art Ensemble of the Ministry of Defence Stanislav Binicki



To all members of the Art Ensemble of the Ministry of Defence "Stanislav Binicki" I congratulate on 26 September - Day of the Ensemble.

On that day in 1899, by the order of Defence Minister of the Kingdom of Serbia, the Belgrade military orchestra was formed in Belgrade. For over a century you have followed the continuous artistic tradition of preserving and nurturing the soldiers' songs and other musical forms. Military musicians and orchestras occupy an important place in the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces. Choosing a good repertoire, you have an undoubted influence on creating a system of values and tastes of the audience to the military population, and the general public.

In the previous period you have presented the artistic being of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces in a dignified way and gained prominence as a quality music collective. In addition to performances on the international scene, with the concerts you organize in cooperation with local ensembles from the art of music, you are the true indicator of the values of military heritage in this field.

Wishing you to continue successfully conducting the planned projects and activities in the field of culture and traditions in the Ministry of Defence, as well as on the state level, and achieving remarkable results, I congratulate you on your holiday.
