Chief of General Staff spoke with KFOR Commander
Chief of General Staff General Ljubisa Dikovic met today in Nis with the new KFOR Commander Major General Guglielmo Luigi Miglietta. This is the first meeting of the two generals since August this year when General Miglietta took command of the international forces in Kosovo and Metohija.Generals Dikovic and Miglietta discussed the current security situation and cooperation between the Serbian Armed Forces and KFOR. Noting that cooperation is fair and professional, the two generals agreed that the continuation of the joint actions of the SAF and KFOR is critical to ensure a stable and secure environment and conditions for normal life of citizens.
This is a high-level meeting of the Joint Committee for implementation of the Military Technical Agreement, consisting of the Committee of the KFOR Command and the Committee of representatives of security forces of the Republic of Serbia. The meetings of the Joint Committee have been held regularly at various levels since 1999, with the goal of implementing the Military Technical Agreement.
