Exchange of practices in the field of defence planning
A delegation of the General Staff of National Defence of the Republic of Greece led by Brigadier General Vassilios Garbis visited the Directorate of Strategic Planning of the Department for Defence Policy on 22 and 23 September 2015.The aim of the visit was to exchange information and experiences on defence planning, as well as to consider opportunities for further cooperation in this field.
Both sides have presented the defence planning systems of their countries with regard to processes, levels, carriers, the structure and content of the documents, the experience gained in the application of the system of defence planning, as well as the methods, tools and techniques that are used in defence planning.
It has been proposed to continue the practice of periodic meetings at the expert level and to improve the cooperation by invitations to events and seminars in the field of defence planning and organization of thematic visits.
