Congratulations on the occasion of the Transportation Service Day


To all members of the transportation service I congratulate on 15 September – Day of service.

On that day in 1908, King Petar I Karadjordjevic issued a decree on establishment of the transportation service. Continuing a tradition of more than a century, you have confirmed that the logistic support of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces is, among other things, viable and functional, with active and full engagement of members of your services and transportation equipment.

Wishing you to continue developing your service and professionally and responsibly performing the assigned tasks and thus give your full contribution to the operational and functional capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces and the Ministry of Defence, I congratulate you on your holiday.

Congratulations on the occasion of the Technical Service Day

To all members of the Technical Service, I congratulate 15 September – Day of service.


On that day in 1891, in the powder magazine "Obilicevo" near Krusevac, the production of nitrocellulose (smokeless) gunpowder began, which allowed for the production of ammunition for "Mauser" rifles and the reconstruction of lines for the production of infantry ammunition, which contributed to the development and modernization of military industry of Serbia at the time.

Continuing the tradition of almost thirteen decades, in the previous year, you properly and successfully completed tasks from logistics functions, and with your professional approach to work, you managed to raise the level of operational and functional capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces and the Ministry of Defence.

I congratulate you on your holiday, certain that you will continue professionally conducting the tasks and giving full contribution to the improvement of your service and logistics support to the defence system.
