Meeting of Heads of Public Relations of Serbia and China
Heads of Public Relations Departments of the Republic of Serbia and the People's Republic of China, Navy Captain Petar Boskovic and Senior Colonel Yang Yu Yun, had talks today at the premises of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Ministry of National Defence in Beijing.During the meeting, the interlocutors exchanged experiences in the field of public relations, noting that there is a great similarity in the organizational and functional arrangement of the departments they manage. They agreed that the key to the work they perform is timely information and rapid response.
The two heads talked about the methods of collection and analysis of information placed by media about the military at home and abroad, but also about the difficulties they face in their daily work. They agreed that the advanced training of employees in the field of crisis communication and social networks guarantee success in public relations.
Captain Boskovic said that the two countries have had traditionally good relations, noting that it was China who has been a great support to Serbia in the past, and that the Chinese army is one of the largest donors to the Serbian army. He thanked his Chinese counterpart for the hospitality and expressed his hope that he will have opportunity to be his host in Belgrade soon.Delegation of Public Relations, led by Navy Captain Petar Boskovic, is visiting China where they will follow the participation of our guardsmen in the parade marking the 70th anniversary of the victory over fascism and the victory in the war of liberation of the Chinese people against Japan.
