The draw for the semifinals of the Tank Biathlon held
In the semifinals of the Tank Biathlon at the International Military Games on 13 August, Serbia will drive the first race in blue-coloured tanks, as was decided by lot today at the training ground Alabino. Our tank crews will compete in the relay race against teams of India, Kazakhstan and Armenia. In the second race on the same day, Tajikistan, Russia, China and Kyrgyzstan will compete. The colour of tanks, the track numbers and the starting order has been decided by the representatives of teams with a draw of specially labeled cartridges.Four teams whose tank crews achieve best times will qualify for the finals, regardless of the group in which they compete.
Given the high level of training of almost all the teams that will compete in the semifinals, the outcome is highly uncertain. The Serbian team members have been intensively preparing for the next performance since the completion of the first stage of the competition, and they hope for a good placement and a place in the finals.
- We will do our best. We will try to represent our Armed Forces and our country worthily - our team captain, commander of the first crew Major Ninoslav Djudjic said after the draw.
