The Armed Forces helping with water supply in Sjenica area
After the announced emergency state in the Municipality of Sjenica five days ago, due to the problems with the waterworks, today, upon the decision of the Minister of Defence, SAF referred one 7000 liter cistern for aid to the citizens of Pester villages that do not have drinking water. The cistern was sent from the 28th mechanized battalion of the Second Army Brigade from Novi Pazar.
The cistern is deployed in Giljeva village, where, according to the representatives of the Municipality of Sjenica, the situation is most severe. They stress that the situation is not much better in other places in that municipality that are not in the first height zone.
