The return of bright tradition

By the decision of Minister of Defence Bratislav Gasic, the high school education of SAF noncommissioned officers is reinstalled, 20 years after the Technical Military High School was closed. The 46th class with 30 students will be enrolled in the four-year studies, in the course “Air Force and Air Defence”. After the completion, they will be admitted to the Serbian Armed Forces as professional noncommissioned officers, in soldier rank.

During the past two decades, the education of noncommissioned officers was organized in various ways, and in the past years, the best professional soldiers have received their first sergeant ranks after the further education at the Center for Training and Advancement of Officers. However, the practice has shown that the present way of having new noncommissioned officers cannot secure the adequate and continuous filling of technical and aviation service.

The open announcement for admission and selection of candidates will be announced on 1 August, 2015.
