Minister of Defence congratulates on the Day of 2nd Army Brigade




I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all members of the 2nd Army Brigade on 12th July – Day of the Brigade.

With your expertise, responsibility and good results, you preserve the reputation of your unit, and prove daily that you are worthy inheritors of bold Karadjordje’s rebels, whose tradition you have continued over 210 whole years.

Owing to the high level of professionalism of members of your brigade, in the past period, while securing the administrative line with Kosovo and Metohija in the Ground Security Zone, you have greatly contributed to the stability in the region and to the security of the Republic of Serbia, and at the same time you have contributed to the advancement of operative capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces.

I congratulate you on your jubilee, wishing you to use the upcoming period of new challenges as a motivation for successful realization of assigned tasks.
