Apartment through a loan




The 2015 long-term mortgage loan programme for professional military personnel provides funds amounting to 500 million dinars. So far, 408 million dinars of these funds have been spent, so that currently 92 million dinars are available.

A total of 2,004 professional military personnel have solved their housing problem through this programme so far, out of which 221 have gone through it since the beginning of this year. Due to high demand for subsidized housing loans, an initiative will be launched to provide additional amount of 200 million dinars.

Mortgage loans for military pensioners without solved housing issue who are entitled to reimbursement of a part of the cost of housing, are realized by the Fund for social insurance of the military insured (SOVO Fund), appropriating funds for housing in the amount of 20,000 euros in counter value in dinars. This year, SOVO Fund has allocated so far the amount of 113 957 141 dinars including the funds transferred from the previous year for mortgage loans for military pensioners, planning to allocate for this purpose until the end of the year additional 123,944,637 dinars.

So far, a total of 1549 users of military pensions solved their housing problem in this way, 26 of which have made it since the beginning of the year. It has been planned until the end of the year to provide funds for another 72 mortgage loans.
