Serbian contingent in Cyprus decorated with medals



The SAF members that are deployed in the UNFICYP peacekeeping mission in Cyprus, within Sector 4 have been awarded medals for their engagement in the mission. The activity was realized in the course of the summer medal awarding ceremony.

The members of the Serbian contingent were presented with the medals by Chief of the Mission Lisa Buttenheim, Force Commander General Kristin Lund and Chief Adviser to Ambassador of Serbia to Cyprus Dragan Zurovac.

In the UNFICYP mission, SAF has deployed one staff officer, two military observers, six patrol members and 37 infantry platoon members, within Slovakian-Hungarian contingent.
