Partnership of Serbia and Iraq



Партнерство Србије и ИракаMinister of Defence Bratislav Gasic and Iraqi Ambassador Falah Abdulhasan Abdulsada discussed the bilateral cooperation between the two countries and the cooperation in the field of defence.

During the meeting, they stated that the partnership between the two friendly countries should gain full force in all fields in the next period, including the field of defence, in order to achieve the level of cooperation from the times of SFRY. It is expected that Minister of Defence of the Republic of Iraq Khalid al-Obeidi will visit the Arms and Military Equipment Fair PARTNER 2015 next week.

The traditionally good relations between the two countries have been confirmed with the support of the Republic of Iraq for the defence of the principles of the international law and the maintenance of territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia, for which Minister Gasic thanked Ambassador Abdulsada.
