The Armed Forces once again convincingly most trusted by citizens



A research of the Centre for free choices and democracy conducted for the needs of the Office of Ombudsman Sasa Jankovic has shown that our citizens invest the greatest trust in the Serbian Armed Forces. As much as 61 percent of the surveyed gave a positive answer when asked about their trust in the military.

At the same time, 57 percent trusts the Church, and 40 percent the Police.

This research has once again confirmed that the military is an institution that has gained the greatest trust of the citizens of Serbia for years. Compared to the results from the past research that was conducted in November 2014 for the OSCE mission in Belgrade, a noticeable increase of trust by 11 percent is noticeable.

The research was conducted with the sample of 1200 surveyed individuals, in the period between 21 to 30 March this year, after the SAF helicopter crash.
