State Secretary Djordjevic spoke with US Deputy Ambassador
State Secretary Zoran Djordjevic spoke today with Deputy US Ambassador in Belgrade Gordon Duguid.
During the meeting, the interlocutors exchanged opinions on the most important upcoming joint projects of the bilateral military cooperation and its further improvement, with emphasis on the further development of the South base as a regional centre for training of units for multinational operations. They also discussed the continuation of participation of SAF members in joint exercises and training, cooperation within the State Partnership Programme with the Ohio National Guard, continuation of cooperation in fields of further education and advancement of MoD and SAF members, programs for modernization and equipping (FMF and GPOI), and many other joint projects.
Both sides conveyed belief that the upcoming high-level visits would certainly contribute to determination of future strategic guidelines for further improvement of bilateral military cooperation.
