Protocol for donation of HMMWV vehicles for the Serbian Armed Forces signed
The protocol for donation of 19 new multipurpose HMMWV vehicles for SAF units has been signed today at the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia.The Protocol for donation and the Letter of offer and acceptance were signed by Head of the Division for Development and Equipment of the Department for Planning and Development J-5 Colonel Milan Popovic on behalf of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, and Chief at Office of Defense Cooperation of the U.S. Embassy Lieutenant Colonel Corey Shea on behalf of the United States European Command.
The donation of 19 new multipurpose HMMWV vehicles is realized in the course of the Program of foreign military financing of the US Government (FMF), and the production and delivery of the vehicles are planned for 2016.
