Graduation Ceremony of the 39th class students of the Military High School



Graduation Ceremony of the 39th class students of the Military High School was held today in that institution. The ceremony was attended by high officials of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, teachers, senior staff, families and friends of the students.
The 104 of them that had begun their education at the renowned education institution in September 2011, had achieved notable results in classes and extracurricular activities, and Major General Goran Zekovic, Head of the Military Academy, handed over watches with inscription, books and acknowledgements to the best students.

On this occasion, he said that the young men had successfully crossed a part of the path, and that they were now warmly welcomed by the Military Academy, where they would acquire full competence to work in the profession of they had chosen.

- You have proved to be a committed generation, and we expect that you will confirm this at the Military Academy, which will help you express all your knowledge and talent – General Zekovic said.

Congratulating the members of the class on the achieved results, Head of the Military Grammar School Colonel Miroslav Gvozdenovic reminded that the young men, the future of the Serbian Armed Forces, had been taught by top experts that had selflessly shared their knowledge with them.

The best student of the generation Mladen Sebek, who will continue his education at the Military Medical Faculty, spoke on behalf of his colleagues and said that he was happy the 39th class had passed the test of maturity, and that this had been greatly aided by all teachers, senior staff and management of the Military Grammar School, which he described as an institution that was very successful in turning young people into people ready to face the trials of life. Traditionally, he was awarded the annual prize of the Foundation "Second Lieutenant Borko Nikitović", presented by mother of the tragically killed young officer Zora Nikitovic.

The second and third best in the class are Branislav Stojkovic and Milos Basaric.

The graduation ceremony of the 39th class of the Military High School, founded in 1970, was also attended by Assistant Minister of Defence Milos Jankovic and Head of the University of Defence Major General Mladen Vuruna.
