New apartments for members of the defence system in Belgrade, Nis and Uzice

Minister of Defence Bratislav Gasic, accompanied by Chief of General Staff General Ljubisa Dikovic, handed over keys to 23 apartments today in the Grand Hall of the old General Staff building to active and retired members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces.

Congratulating to the guests and their families, Minister Gasic said that he regretted that there had not been more of them this time, but that another number of apartments would soon be ready. He also pointed out the new practice where the apartments are placed at the disposal of the new owners as soon as the conditions are met.

- One of the main things the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces are currently working on is the solving of your housing status, and I believe that we will succeed in this already from September – Defence Minister stated.

The apartments are located in Belgrade, Uzice and Nis.
