Minister Gasic met with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom
Minister of Defence Bratislav Gasic spoke with Ambassador of the United Kingdom in Belgrade Denis Keefe and newly-appointed defence attaché Colonel Simon Fitzgibbon.Gasic and Keefe agreed that the cooperation in the field of defence is the best part of the overall bilateral relations between the two countries. The key fields of cooperation are military education, military medicine, and foundation of the NATO Trust Fund for destruction of surplus weapons. Furthermore, in the past period, various successful projects had been realized within the English Language Learning Project and in public relations.
During the meeting, the interlocutors also discussed the visit of the Commander-in-Chief of the UK Land Forces to Serbia planned in September, which will contribute to further development of military-military cooperation.
