New web presentation for multinational operations
With the wish to incorporate all the information on the contribution of members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces to the international peace and security, the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Defence has set up a new web presentation of multinational operations.
On the address www.mnop.mod.gov.rs you can find all the information on Mod and SAF deployment in multinational operations under the auspices of the United Nations and the European Union, latest news from the missions, attractive photographs and videos.
With a modern design and functionality, the website is easy to use and enables quick and easy access to information about current and completed missions, the training of all candidates who want to participate in multinational operations, and legal regulations.The multinational operations website also contains a section titled “Peacekeeper”, which describes the responsible task of building peace in crisis regions from the viewpoint of the participants. On this page, you will find answers to the questions of why participate in peacekeeping operations, how to become a peacekeeper and what challenges MoD and SAF members can face during their deployment in multinational operations. Moreover, for those that want to be peacekeepers and for those who do not, in the section “Peacekeeper’s diary” you can find interesting stories –intimate impressions that have enriched the loves of our peacekeepers.
