Seminar �Arrangement in research and development process� opened



Today, at the Military Technical Institute, a seminar titled “Arrangement in research and development process” was opened, in organization of the Center for Civilian-Military Relations of the Naval Postgraduate School from Monterey. In the next five days, US lecturers Magdi Kamel and Gary Serfoss will convey their knowledge and experience in the field of arrangement in research and development process as a part of defence procurements to their Serbian colleagues.

Отворен семинар „Уговарање током процеса истраживања и развоја“The attendants of the seminar were welcomed by Assistant Director of the Military Technical Institute for research and development Dr. Zoran Anastasijevic, who expressed his content that the SAF members had the opportunity to learn from the renowned foreign experts.

The seminar is attended by 10 MoD and SAF, who will attend classic lectures, and will have the opportunity to actively participate through workshops and group works.

MTI is the largest scientific research institution of the Ministry of Defence that deals with development of arms and military equipment as high technology products. The result of the many years of the existence of the institution is over 1,300 arms and military equipment used in the Serbian Armed Forces. As the regional leader in the field of military scientific research work, it has 24 modern laboratories, some of which are unique in the Balkans, while most of them surpass military importance, so they can be considered national resources of the Republic of Serbia. Over 80% of staff is research staff, where most members possess highest scientific and academic degrees.
