Art Ensemble Stanislav Binicki at the War and Peace concert



The MoD Art Ensemble Stanislav Binicki performed tonight at the ceremonial concert “War and Peace” – Greatest songs of Russia, on the occasion of marking 70 years since the victory over fascism.

In the Great Hall of Sava Center, the audience enjoyed the most famous patriotic, military, national and Cossack songs of Russia, and popular songs from Serbia. Solo performances were given by great names of the Russian music scene: Petr Glubokij – Bolshoi Theatre, Sergei Putilin – Ensemble Aleksandrov, and Maxim Richter – Russian Cossacks State Ensemble. Aside from the Russian guests, performances were also given by Serbian soloists: Merima Njegomir, Tanja Andrijic, Ana Sinicki, Danica Krstic, Ljubo Manasijevic and Nikola Jeftic, and Abrasevic Choire.

The concert was attended by State Secretary at the Ministry of Defence Zoran Djordjevic, MoD and SAF representatives and a vast audience.
