At Krusik Factory in Valjevo, around 11.30 today, during a testing of hand grenade igniters, it was activated. First information points that human factor was the most likely cause of the incident.

During this incident, seven employees were lightly hurt. Six employees have been released for home treatment, while one of them, also with light injuries, has been referred to the Ophthalmology Clinic at the Clinical Center of Serbia.

Since the incident, Minister Gasic has been in touch with the management of the factory and is fully informed about the situation. Minister ordered that all security measures should be taken and that the employees should be taken care of.

The facilities where the accident took place have not suffered any material damage and production activities have been continued.
